Hi there! My name is James Yellow and I’m a photographer based in Orange County, CA.
Through taking photos of people for over ten years, I’ve learned to find joy in capturing the beauty in human interactions. Photography has taught me how to experience creative satisfaction through documenting personal, meaningful moments.

My goal is to help you feel like you’re just hanging out with your friend during our photo sessions. This way, the pressure & stress of needing to behave a certain way or maintain a perfect impression before someone you’ve just met can be relieved. And you can be your authentic, comfortable self around me.
Style-wise, I like to edit my photos in true-to-color tones and maximize the presence of natural lighting (the hour before sunset is my favorite!). I find this editing style to reflect memories that feel timeless, raw, and lively.

After you fill it out, I’ll reach out to you so we can collaborate on details like your event date, timeline, locations, and more.
Then, I’ll send you a written agreement with a summary of our plan. Once I receive your confirmation and a small deposit, you’ll be good to go!
